PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy for Hair Restoration

PRP therapy is a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment that harnesses your body’s natural healing abilities to stimulate hair follicle regeneration and promote hair growth.

This treatment is particularly effective for individuals experiencing thinning hair or early stages of hair loss, including androgenetic alopecia in both men and women.

PRP works by drawing a small sample of your blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then injecting it into the scalp in targeted areas. The high concentration of growth factors in PRP helps to revive dormant hair follicles, improve hair thickness, and encourage new hair growth.

PRP for hair restoration is a cost-effective solution compared to surgical options, offering natural-looking results without the need for downtime.

A course of treatments typically delivers visible improvement within 3 to 6 months, with continued enhancement over time. Results can last up to 18–24 months with maintenance sessions.

Whether you're looking to strengthen thinning hair, slow down hair loss, or enhance the results of a hair transplant, PRP therapy offers a safe and effective solution backed by science.

How it works

  • Blood is taken from your arm and then spun down to separate it into two sections. The section we call PRP contains special cells called Platelets, a pale yellow substance.

  • We then use two methods to administer your PRP back into the skin; micro-needling and injections.

  • The primary purpose of using PRP in hair restoration is to stimulate inactive or newly implanted hair follicles into an active growth phase. We do this by injecting your plasma in and around the area of hair loss.

We recommend an initial course of 3-6 treatments every 4-6 weeks, followed by a 3-6 monthly top-ups.
